The Closeboard Arris Rail Fence

Close board fencing, also known as feather edge fencing, this style of pressure treated wooden fencing is an on location construction and can cater for flat and sloped land. It is made up of horizontal arris rails slotted into morticed vertical wood or concrete posts for a durable structure. Then featheredge boards are attached to the arris rails vertically nailed and overlap one another. The featheredge are tapered wooden boards with the thin edge on top, which creates a nice finished appearance, providing a solid and sturdy barrier. Close board fencing is commonly used for privacy and security in residential and commercial settings.

The posts can be spaced out at differant measurements to cater for individual needs, a fence will be stronger the closer the post are but will increase the cost.
